Introduction
This Full Moon brings to light what was seeded in the darkness of Capricorn almost six months ago. That New Moon was a powerful time for initiating long-term projects, and now this opposition illuminates what has since manifested—what has grown, what has struggled, and what is ready to be seen. For a reminder of that New Moon, you can revisit my Capricorn New Moon Report from 19 January 2026.
This is a lunation of profound tension and revelation. The Moon, in her detriment in Capricorn, is squared by Saturn—her ruler and dispositor—now in fall in Aries. This is not a gentle Full Moon. It is a clarion call to assess the structures of our lives, to confront the friction between our public ambitions and private emotional needs, and to navigate the unpredictable, electrifying energy of Mars conjoining Uranus in Gemini.
Adding to this, Mercury stations retrograde in Cancer just hours after the Full Moon peaks, drawing us inward to reflect on family patterns and emotional foundations. And Jupiter, the Greater Benefic, makes his final exit from Cancer into Leo, shifting the cosmic winds toward creative self-expression, authentic leadership, and the courage to step into the spotlight.
.
Illuminations of a Full Moon
A Full Moon occurs when the Sun and Moon oppose one another across the zodiac—a moment when our conscious drive, vitality, and actions (the Sun) stand in tension with our instincts, receptivity, and unconscious depths (the Moon). The Moon’s face, fully illuminated by solar light, brings the hidden into view. Emotions surface; unrealised feelings, buried memories, or ancestral patterns may rise from the depths. What grew in the dark of the New Moon six months ago is now ready for harvest—and what is not worth keeping finds its way back to the earth, ready to nourish what is yet to come.
.
Moon in Capricorn: Far from the Familiar
This Full Moon finds the Moon far from her own temple of Cancer. She travels instead in the opposite sign of Capricorn, where she is said to be in her detriment. Like a traveller in a foreign land, she must do without the comforts and support of her own home, her familiar rhythms, her native tongue.
In Capricorn, the Moon must work harder to express her natural significations. Where she seeks vulnerability, sensitivity, and emotional security, she encounters an earth sign ruled by Saturn—stoic, pragmatic, and oriented toward material security. The emotional body is asked to speak a language it does not naturally speak.
.
The Weight of Saturn: Square to the Ruler
Adding to this tension, the Moon is applying to a square with Saturn, who rules and disposits this Full Moon. Saturn, in turn, is in Aries—the place of his fall. Here, in the masculine fire sign of Mars, Saturn’s authority, patience, and caution are challenged by Aries’s impulsivity and assertive will. The structures Saturn seeks to build are met with the Ram’s desire to act now, without delay.
Thus, the emotions that surface under this Full Moon’s light are in tension with the need to wait. They may feel thwarted, held back, or met with roadblocks. There is a sense of impatience, a restless urge to push forward even as something says not yet. Material aspects of your plans and goals may require review and adjustment—perhaps a detour around obstacles, or a pause to reassess the foundation.
Opposite, the Sun travels through Cancer, copresent with Mercury and exalted Jupiter. This places an oppositional energy between the Moon in Capricorn and the Sun in Cancer—a tension between emotional restraint and emotional nurture, between public ambition and private care. With Saturn in an overcoming square to the Sun, there may be added friction with parents, family, or figures of authority. The impulse to protect and nurture runs up against the weight of responsibility.
.
Mars Conjoins Uranus
A day before the Full Moon, Mars ingresses into Gemini on 29 June, joining Uranus in an exact conjunction on 4 July—separating to 3 degrees by 9 July. Mars, planet of aggression, conflict, and cutting action, meets Uranus, planet of rebellion, breakthroughs, and sudden awakening. The result is electric, volatile, and unpredictable.
Expect the unexpected. This is the signature of shocking events or sudden upsets—rash actions, thrill-seeking, impulsive decisions, or heightened conflict. On a mundane level, this alignment can correlate with explosive incidents, intense social unrest, or sudden ruptures in the status quo. The energy of these two planets sparks a volatile reactionary force, moving like currents through the Gemini air—information, sudden insights, and erratic impulses channeled at lightning speed.
Of note, this alignment echoes the birth chart of the United States (the Sibley chart), which contains a sign-based conjunction of Mars and Uranus in Gemini. Historically, this has correlated with definitive moments of national conflict—the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, and World War II (including Hiroshima). Mars will remain in Gemini, maintaining its copresence with Uranus, until 12 August.
.
Mercury Stations Retrograde
At the time of the Full Moon, Mercury is moving toward a conjunction with Jupiter, the Greater Benefic, who is exalted in Cancer. Jupiter offers fortune, wisdom, and expansion—a generous meeting, if Mercury were to reach it.
But just as he nears this auspicious meeting, Mercury slows, comes to a standstill, and begins to move retrograde on 1 July. It is as if the Gods themselves have intervened, sending him back to retrace his steps through Cancer—a sign that he is not yet ready for this meeting.
This marks a time of introspection, reflection, and revision. Mercury, as psychopomp, moves through the liminal spaces of our unconscious psyche—guiding souls across thresholds, between worlds. In the nurturing waters of Cancer, he leads us through the underworld of our emotional foundations and ancestral memories, helping us process family patterns, hidden grief, and the quiet murmurs of instinct. Messages arrive through intuition, dreams, and the body’s knowing.
During Mercury retrograde, it is wise to step back, slow down, and take stock. Re-organise, review, rest, and recalibrate. Postpone any big non-urgent decisions or purchases. Mercury will station direct on 24 July at 16°18′ Cancer, and enter Leo on 10 August.
.
Jupiter Moves into Leo

Six hours after the Full Moon’s peak, Jupiter moves into Leo, having spent almost 13 months in Cancer. In the masculine fire sign of the Sun, Jupiter embodies royalty, nobility, and the spiritual guru. It is a placement of leadership, courage, and creative authority.
This is a time of creative growth and authentic self-expression—a genuine, heartfelt, and playful energy that also seeks recognition and appreciation. At its best, this transit is loyal, magnanimous, and integrous. It is a time to develop courage, leadership, and faith in oneself.
The shadow side? Conceit, grandiosity, and hubris. The line between inspired leadership and overblown ego is thin here. The challenge is to shine without burning those around you.
.
Capricorn Decan I

This Full Moon falls into Capricorn’s first decan, represented by the 2 of Pentacles – The Lord of Change. How fitting, as it holds within it the solstices—the moment when the balance of lightness and darkness tips, whether toward autumn or spring.
As T. Susan Chang points out, the figure in this tarot card holds what resembles a two-wheel pulley system, evoking the solar analemma—the asymmetrical figure-eight traced when you plot the Sun’s position in the sky at the same clock time from the same location over the course of a year. It is the Sun’s year-long signature, written in light.
This is the moment when the Sun reaches its southernmost declination and stands still—the Latin solstitium, “Sun stands still”—before beginning its northward journey. This is the outer limit of the curve. A threshold. A pause before the turning.
The solar analemma traces the shape of infinity, reminding us of the cyclical nature of all things. This decan is ruled by Jupiter in the Chaldean system and by Saturn in the triplicity system—an urge to expand, tempered by a cautious need for boundaries. It is the deliberation of where best to lay down roots. Not yet planted. Only considered. The dance before the planting.
.
Introduction to the Horoscopes
As you read the horoscopes that follow, hold these themes in mind: the tension between responsibility and nurture, the shock of the new, and the invitation to grow through what arises. The coming weeks invite both caution and courage—and the promise of transformation for those willing to do the work.
The horoscopes are best read for your rising sign, as this determines the house placement of the Full Moon and provides the most personalised guidance. However, due to the symbolic nature of astrology, you may also find value in reading for your Sun sign. Trust which resonates most deeply with you.
.
Aries: The Weight of Ambition

The Full Moon falls into your Capricorn tenth house of career and public reputation, bringing to light intentions seeded at the Capricorn New Moon on 19 January. Then, a reborn Mars and Venus expressed their desires and values for a new material vision. And now the fruits of your labour become visible. Though you may be encouraged by the progress, Saturn, the ruler of this Full Moon, is aligned by square to the Moon, asking you to assess what to carry forward and what to revise. It asks whether your personal identity, vitality, and self-worth reflect your public standing and achievements.
Opposite, the Sun travels through your Cancer fourth house, illuminating the private sphere of parents, home, and family. This may reveal a push-pull between your public life and your personal foundations—competing time demands, or perhaps a disconnect between your professional and private selves. Mercury, now retrograde, joins the Sun here, drawing you inward to reflect on family patterns and emotional foundations.
Meanwhile, Mars, your fiery ruler, and Uranus are set to meet in your Gemini third house of community, communication, and short trips. As Mars leaves Venus’s earthy domicile, his pulse quickens in the airy, masculine domain of Mercury. He is electrified by Uranus’s jolting energy, and on 4 July they conjoin. With Mercury retrograde in watery Cancer, the usual sharpness of Gemini communication is softened—yet emotions may run high, and words spoken in haste could carry unexpected weight. Your mind may feel restless, brilliant, and working at lightning speed. Energy, lightning, shocks, and surprises meet drive, aggression, and impulse. Watch for burnout, arguments, and take extra caution to avoid mishaps.
Yet the emergence of a more confident and authentic self-expression is on the horizon, for Jupiter, the Greater Benefic, moves into your Leo fifth house only a day after the Full Moon culminates. This marks the start of a joyful and blessed year for creativity, romance, and children—a time to take creative risks, to play, and to let your heart lead.
.
Taurus: New Horizons, New Questions

The Full Moon lights up your Capricorn ninth house, bringing to fruition the initiations planted six months ago, when Venus and Mars—newly purified by the Sun—conjoined the Capricorn New Moon on 19 January. Driven by a fresh desire for mastery and material security, a plan was set in motion.
The Full Moon is far from her temple in Cancer, where the Sun travels with Mercury and an exalted Jupiter, basking in emotional security and connection. Yet the Moon, in exile, reveals strength and determination. She seeks new horizons and new experiences. The ninth house is the house of God—the place where we seek higher knowledge and spiritual wisdom. This is a time to reflect on your direction: what has been achieved, and what needs rethinking.
The Full Moon is square to its host, Saturn, who travels through your twelfth house in Aries. Saturn rules the threshold of the conscious and unconscious, and is said to rejoice in this liminal space. He is guarded, seeking solitude, structure, and caution. Yet the Full Moon has the upper hand, instinctively seeking expansion and visibility through philosophy, faith, and new horizons, challenging Saturn’s self-limiting beliefs or anxieties.
One day after the Full Moon, Mars moves into your second house of material resources and livelihood in Gemini, meeting Uranus on 4 July—signalling an unpredictable time for finances or income. Exercise discernment and avoid impulse.
Meanwhile, Jupiter, the Greater Benefic, moves into your fourth house to join your ruler Venus, marking a year of blessing and expansion for parents, home, and family.
.
Gemini: Shadows and Shared Depths

The Full Moon falls into your Capricorn eighth house, illuminating deep feelings connected to intimacy, karmic entanglements, and shared resources. Hidden from direct view of your first house, this is the place of death, transformation, and interdependency. The Moon’s peak light brings clarity to shadowy emotions around emotional and financial interdependence.
Opposite, the Sun travels through your Cancer second house—the place of personal income and material resources—accompanied by your ruler Mercury and an exalted Jupiter. This marks a time of financial growth and greater self-worth through material independence. Thus you must navigate a push-pull between your personal finances and esteem in the second house, and the favour bestowed upon you by others in the eighth.
The Full Moon looks toward her ruler, Saturn, in your Aries ninth house, where he is in his fall—in Mars’s domicile. Saturn seeks mastery through patient dedication, while Mars demands action through impulse. The Moon seeks material and emotional support from Saturn through the structure and stability of allies, mentors, and long-term aspiration.
A day after the Full Moon culminates, Mars moves into your first house, bringing a personal infusion of vitality, assertiveness, and drive. On 4 July, Mars meets Uranus, the Great Awakener, bringing heightened mental activity and restlessness. You may feel a deep need for freedom against anything that impinges on your personal autonomy. Rebellion, argumentativeness, or impulsivity may arise—and in your first house, it is wise to tame any reckless tendencies.
Meanwhile, on 1 July, Jupiter moves into your third house, bringing fortunate support and expansion to community connections and projects. A felicitous time for siblings and neighbours. A time of greater confidence in self-expression, of learning new skills and ways of thinking, and of more local travel.
.
Cancer: The Mirror of Relationship

The Full Moon—your Moon—illuminates your Capricorn seventh house, bringing your relationships and committed partnerships into focus. Look back to the New Moon of 19 January for the seeds of what now comes to light.
The Moon is in her exile in Capricorn, far from her lunar domicile in Cancer. Here, she lacks the familiar comforts and resources of its nurturing waters. She must build emotional security and protection in Saturn’s practical, disciplined, and structured earthy domicile—especially within her relationships. And as the reflected solar light culminates on her face, subconscious feelings and realisations surface, revealing previously hidden emotional truths.
Opposite, the Sun travels through your Cancer first house of self—the helm of your ship. This is a time when your body, mind, and temperament are infused with vitality, and your own needs take centre stage. The Sun is not alone; he travels with Mercury and an exalted Jupiter. Mercury infuses your communication with intuition and emotional honesty, and Jupiter, at the height of his beneficence, brings expansion, optimism, and a philosophical search for truth. Thus, this Full Moon tests the balance between your personal identity and your closest relationships.
The Full Moon’s host, Saturn, travels in your Aries tenth house—the place of career, public actions, and reputation. The Full Moon demands structure and support from Saturn, but in Aries, he struggles to impose his authority and long-term visions. Thus, whatever comes to light within your relationships will be in tension with your public role or profession. This may involve authority figures, delays, or roadblocks, requiring perseverance, patience, and restructuring.
A day after the Full Moon culminates, Mars slips into your Gemini twelfth house to meet Uranus on 4 July. In the liminal space of your unconscious shadow, hidden matters may suddenly arise—jarring realisations, dream warnings, or repressed anger may surface unexpectedly. And you may find your sleep disturbed, as your nervous energy runs higher than usual.
Meanwhile, Jupiter slips into your Leo second house, bringing blessings to your material resources and livelihood. You will enjoy greater creativity, visibility, and confidence in your work. Your livelihood and finances will undergo a period of expansion over the next year, attracting new supportive connections and mentors.
.
Leo: The Threshold of Service

The Full Moon lights up your Capricorn sixth house, bringing to culmination what was initiated at the auspicious New Moon on 19 January.
The Capricornian vision born at the beginning of the year has now taken shape, forged by the desire and drive toward a new strategic goal for material security. You committed yourself to the perseverance and hard work that Saturn demands—the slow and steady climb toward the peak. For you, Capricorn, this is devotion.
The Full Moon’s total illumination symbolises the visible fruits of the seeds planted at the New Moon. The sixth house is the place of health, work, and service. Whether a new health regime, venture, or employment situation, it now reaches a peak—or a breaking point.
The Full Moon looks to the ruler of Capricorn in an alignment of tension. Saturn, the Taskmaster, travels through Mars’s fiery masculine sign in your Aries ninth house. Here, he is in his fall, where his preferred expression of detached patience, restraint, and caution is ill-supported. You will learn to assert your own authority and independence, whilst also challenging systems or structures that can no longer hold you. He thus brings a dose of reality and obstacles to test your faith and resolve.
Opposite, the Sun travels through your Cancer twelfth house, bringing focus to the inner sanctum of your psyche—the unconscious reservoir of memories, karma, and self-undoing. He is not alone, for Mercury and Jupiter also move through the temple of the Moon. Mercury is the psychopomp, guiding you through this liminal space. As you cross the threshold into the shadows, he speaks to you through dreams, images, and intuition. And exalted Jupiter, at the end of his year-long inner sojourn, bestows his final blessings of spiritual healing and wisdom before his departure.
Meanwhile, Mars has slipped into the electrified air of your Gemini eleventh house to meet Uranus on 4 July. This is an unpredictable, disruptive, and potentially volatile energy in your house of social networks and aspirations. It may manifest as an impulsive action, a forceful moment of breaking free or cutting ties, or a sudden heated argument. And as Gemini rules information technology, this is also the signature of cyberattacks and online security breaches—take appropriate precautions when navigating or transacting online.
Lastly, Jupiter, the Greater Benefic, moves into your first house on 1 July, heralding a major cycle of personal development. It will be a year of growth, visibility, and creativity, bringing supportive people and mentors into your orbit. A time of greater self-belief and confidence.
.
Virgo: The Harvest of Joy

The Full Moon lights up your Capricorn fifth house of Good Fortune. Look back to the New Moon of 19 January for the intentions that were seeded and that now come to fruition.
The Full Moon is a time of heightened emotions. In your Capricorn fifth house, you will feel a deep stirring of emotions for what brings you pleasure—your romantic partner, your children, and how you express yourself creatively. Capricorn, ruled by Saturn, seeks to build a tangible legacy through dedication and discipline, even in the realms of joy. For Capricorn knows that only through hard work can something lasting be created. Now, as the lunar light peaks, what you have built becomes visible.
Opposite, the Sun travels through your eleventh house in Cancer. Here, in the Moon’s temple, he brings focus to your social networks, colleagues, and mentors. He is not alone—he travels with your ruler, Mercury, and an exalted Jupiter. Mercury speaks in nurturing tones and emotional resonance. Logic and rationality must take a back seat to sensitivity, intuition, and feeling as he connects and communicates. And Jupiter, who has expanded your social and professional network for the past year, shares his final blessing before moving on. He no doubt leaves you nurturing bigger dreams and aspirations.
Thus, the Full Moon brings focus to the axial tension between your professional aspirations and networks, and your personal joys—artistic expression, romance, and children.
The Full Moon looks to her host, Saturn, who travels through your Aries eighth house in a tense alignment. She seeks support and security in the realms of shared resources and karmic bonds—in the hidden, psychological space of death and transformation. Yet Saturn is in his fall in Mars’s fiery domain, and may struggle to provide the stability and authority that the Full Moon requires.
Meanwhile, Mars has slipped into your electrified Gemini tenth house—the house of career, public image, and reputation—where Uranus travels. He signifies a frenetic, chaotic, and breakthrough energy in the sphere of ideas, communication, and cognition. When Mars conjoins Uranus on 4 July, add action, impulse, fire, and aggression to the mix. At work, unexpected events may arise—angry words, sudden departures, or a fierce resistance to authority and constraint. This is also the signature of cyberattacks and online security breaches, so exercise caution and moderation in your public role.
Lastly, Jupiter, the Greater Benefic, moves into your Leo twelfth house on 1 July, bringing a year of blessing, support, and healing to your psyche and unconscious realms. This is an opportunity to explore your shadow self, to process and release patterns of self-undoing and self-limiting beliefs. Spiritual growth is assured.
.
Libra: The Weight of Home and Heart

The Full Moon falls into your Capricorn fourth house, bringing matters of parents, family, and home into focus. Look back to the New Moon of 19 January for the seeds of what now comes to light.
In Capricorn, the Moon is in her exile—opposite her temple of Cancer. In this Saturn-ruled house, she must strive to express her usual traits of emotional nurturance, vulnerability, and intuition. Saturn rules cold logic, hard work, and patient perseverance in the pursuit of material security. Thus, the Moon must use discipline and structure to bring about her significations.
The fourth house is the private foundation of your life—the space where you retire to restore your vitality. It represents family, ancestral lineage, and karma, as well as the physical structure and energy of the place you call home. Now, as the Full Moon culminates, hidden matters and emotional truths surface—family dynamics and practical matters related to home and land.
Opposite, the Sun travels through your tenth house with Mercury and Jupiter, highlighting your career and public actions. Mercury brings an emotional, intuitive quality to your communications, and Jupiter, exalted and especially benefic, bestows his final blessings of growth, support, and wisdom before departing the following day. Thus, this Full Moon brings an axial tension between your most public and private lives—a balance you will need to navigate.
The Full Moon looks to her ruler, Saturn, in your seventh house by square—an alignment of friction that demands action. This is the house of partnership and one-on-one relationships. Saturn, planet of boundaries, hard lessons, and maturity, operates within the impulsive, Mars-ruled environment of Aries. Your emotional boundaries and wisdom will be tested against impulse and desire, and with Neptune present, you will need greater discernment between reality and fantasy.
Meanwhile, Mars moves into your Gemini ninth house to meet Uranus on 4 July—a fast-moving, electrified, and potentially volatile time. Mars adds action, fuel, and aggression to Uranus’s chaos, breakthroughs, rebellion, and sudden disruptions. With Mercury now retrograde through Cancer, an added layer of emotionality colours this time. Expect the unexpected in areas of faith, higher learning, philosophy, and overseas travel—though amidst the turbulence, sudden intellectual or spiritual downloads may also arrive, offering flashes of clarity and insight. Move through this period with awareness and caution.
Lastly, Jupiter, the Greater Benefic, enters your Leo eleventh house, heralding a year of fortune and expansion in your social and professional networks—a time of growth, creativity, greater confidence, and perhaps greater aspirations.
.
Scorpio: The Pulse of the Local

The Full Moon lights up your Capricorn third house, bringing clarity to what has manifested from the initiations of the New Moon on 19 January.
The third house is the place of siblings and neighbours. It is the local park, the grocery store, and short day trips to the river. It is the patterns of your mind, conversations, and media. And fortuitously, this is the Temple of the Moon, where Sēlēne rejoices—her constantly shifting light mirroring the bustling and fluctuating patterns of your mind and community. Thus, this Full Moon in Capricorn brings to culmination study, writing, or a media project. It may highlight your responsibilities within the community or bring sibling dynamics to light.
Opposite, the Sun travels through your Cancer ninth house—the house of God. Here, the Sun rejoices. This is the place of faith, higher mind, philosophy, and foreign travels. In Cancer, he seeks emotional connections and spiritual nurturing. He seeks foreign cultures and travel as a profound pilgrimage—perhaps to retrace familial roots. Mercury and Jupiter travel with him. Mercury is retrograde, reviewing and reprocessing events and information inwardly, while Jupiter, exalted and especially benefic, expands your faith, horizons, and higher wisdom.
Thus, the Full Moon presents an axial tension between your everyday mind, local environment, and community, and that of faith, philosophy, higher learning, and foreign lands.
The Full Moon looks to her ruler, Saturn, by square—an alignment of tension. He travels through your Aries sixth house, seeking structured, healthy routines and daily dedicated labour. Thus, what the lunar light reveals in your third house may require you to take action in the sixth house domain—a healthier lifestyle and improved work organisation.
Meanwhile, Mars moves into your Gemini eighth house to meet Uranus on 4 July. This adds action, impulse, and volatility to Uranus’s unpredictable, rebellious breakthrough energy. In your eighth house of karmic bonds, shared resources, and inheritances, expect the unexpected. Sudden events may play out, or hidden information may be revealed in this emotionally complex and shadowy realm—shared finances, debts, and soul entanglements.
Lastly, Jupiter, the Greater Benefic, enters your Leo tenth house, bringing a year of fortunate expansion and recognition in your career and public life. This is a time of greater visibility, professional growth, and perhaps a shift in your public role or reputation. Opportunities to lead, create, and shine in your chosen field are on the horizon.
.
Sagittarius: The Price of Security

The Full Moon lights up your Capricorn second house, bringing to culmination seeds planted at the New Moon on 19 January. It highlights an axial tension between your personal security and finances, and deep, shared transformations.
The second house concerns your personal money, possessions, and livelihood. It is the place of your self-esteem and independence. This Full Moon brings to light pragmatic and financial truths about your self-worth and material security.
Opposite, the Sun travels through your Cancer eighth house of shared resources, debts, and inheritances—the place of karmic entanglement, death, and transformation. It is in aversion to the first house, and thus a shadowy, hidden realm. In the sign of Cancer, these themes may concern family entanglements and emotional security. The Sun is not alone. Retrograde Mercury is present, retracing his steps to process inwardly and retrospectively. And Jupiter, exalted and especially benefic, also travels these waters, sharing his final blessings of protection and wisdom before departing.
The Full Moon looks to her ruler, Saturn, by square—an aspect of tension that requires action to resolve. Saturn travels through your Aries fifth house of creative expression, joy, and romance. This Full Moon may prompt you to revise the time and resources spent chasing empty pleasures, or conversely, you may realise the need to pursue your creative talents with greater commitment to generate an income.
Meanwhile, in your Gemini seventh house of relationship, Mars meets Uranus on 4 July. This is a potent, high-energy conjunction that portends the unpredictable, the brilliant, and the potentially volatile. Here, Uranus brings epiphanies, breakthroughs, and electrified cognitive processing. He is liberation, rebellion, and sudden disruption. Mars is the fuel—he brings action, impulse, and aggression. Thus, in the arena of partnerships and one-on-one relationships, unexpected events may arise—angry blowouts, sudden endings, or flashes of clarity that change everything.
Lastly, your ruler, Jupiter, slips into fellow fire sign Leo, in your ninth house. This will be a fortunate year of faith and spiritual growth. Jupiter, the Greater Benefic, aspects your first house in a fortunate trine, offering expansion and opportunity. This is a year when you draw your bow and point your arrow beyond the horizon, toward higher knowledge, spiritual wisdom, and a new philosophical outlook.
.
Capricorn: At the Helm

The Full Moon culminates in your Capricorn first house—traditionally known as the helm of your ship, the place from which you steer your life. It governs your body, vitality, mind, and temperament. Look back to the New Moon of 19 January for the seeds of this lunation.
What is revealed by the peak of lunar light is deeply personal. Matters of identity, physicality, and personal pursuits are now externalised. The Moon’s fullness emanates from the Sun, who sits across the sky in perfect opposition in Cancer—your seventh house of partnership. This highlights the axial tension between yourself and the obligations of your relationships, your personal boundaries, and what you share with your partner. Your needs versus theirs.
In Capricorn, your security comes from material stability and steady perseverance. Ruled by Saturn, your serious, focused drive feels at odds with your partner’s need for emotional nurturance and security. If unpartnered, a longing for connection may arise—along with the question of whether your stoic self-reliance and Saturnian armour hold intimacy at bay.
The Sun is not alone. He travels with Mercury and Jupiter. Mercury, now retrograde, retraces and reviews relational matters, while Jupiter, exalted and especially benefic, sends his final blessings of emotional wisdom and protection to what is brought to light.
Meanwhile, Saturn, the ruler of this Full Moon and your ruler, travels through your fourth house. He is aligned by square, in his fall in Mars’s fiery domicile. Thus, challenging family dynamics may arise around authority, boundaries, and personal space. This could also touch on home matters—structural issues, delays in renovations, or moving house.
Mars moves into your sixth house—the place of his joy—to meet Uranus in Gemini on 4 July. When these two conjoin, Mars’s action, impulse, and aggression merge with Uranus’s revolutionary breakthrough energy. In the realm of daily routines, health, and service, this transit brings heightened willpower and drive. Though Mars excels in the sixth house, Uranus’s urge for freedom could make your routine feel like a grind. Yet flashes of brilliant insight or innovative ideas may arise in your work environment. Be mindful of impulsive words, especially with authority figures, for Mercury retrograde in Cancer heightens emotions.
Lastly, Jupiter moves into your Leo eighth house for a year-long stay. The Greater Benefic brings fortunate support and protection to your shared resources and intimate bonds, as you experience deep growth and transformation.
.
Aquarius: The Depths Within

The Full Moon lights up your twelfth house, bringing greater awareness and clarity to the hidden aspects of your psyche. For the seeds of this lunation, look to the New Moon of 19 January. What resolutions, desires, or hopes were planted?
The twelfth house is the house of our unconscious—the hidden aspects of ourselves that often operate without our conscious awareness: patterns of self-undoing, deeply held karmic memories, and emotions. Ancient astrologers knew it as the house of Bad Spirit and the joy of Saturn—the Gatekeeper, who guards the threshold of our known universe from what lies beyond. The furthest planet visible to the naked eye, he stands at the boundary between our consciousness and what lies beneath—our unconscious, our memories, our hidden patterns.
The source of this reflected light emanates from the Sun, who opposes her in Cancer. Here, in the sixth house, the Sun brings vitality and visibility to your daily routines, health, and service. He brings principles of authority and protection to the way you support your health, obligations, and labour. He is not alone. Mercury, now moving retrograde, slows and retraces his steps through Cancer, reviewing information, actions, and communications through an intuitive, emotional lens. And Jupiter, exalted and on the cusp of Leo, showers his final blessings of protection, emotional wisdom, and growth.
Thus, this Full Moon holds an axial tension between the unconscious needs of your psyche and the needs of your body and material existence.
The ruler of the Full Moon, Saturn, travels through Aries—your third house. Aligned by square, a challenging aspect, you will experience friction between the Full Moon’s revelations and your daily thought patterns. This is a time where awareness and presence are key—mindfulness, meditation, and other spiritual practices will serve you well. This is the place of community, neighbours, and siblings; of communications and media. The Full Moon makes clear that something must shift in these areas to support the deepest emotional needs of your psyche.
Meanwhile, Mars moves into your Gemini fifth house to meet Uranus on 4 July—a powerful union that brings electric energy to your private joy, creativity, romance, and children. Uranus, the unpredictable planet of radical breakthroughs and disruption, receives a potent injection of action, impulse, and aggression. Together, they manifest as dynamic urges toward freedom, brilliant creative epiphanies, and potentially reckless actions. In the sign of communication and media, and with ruler Mercury retrograde in Cancer adding extra emotion, this can bring flashes of anger, heated words, and sudden, unpredictable events. Expect the unexpected.
Lastly, Jupiter, the Greater Benefic, slips into your Leo seventh house of partnership. This heralds a year of fortunate blessings in your relationship sphere. One-on-one relationships will reveal new aspects of yourself and the world at large, and a foreign love interest may come your way. This is an excellent time for marriage or commitment. Expect a journey of expanded consciousness and heartfelt emotional growth.
.
Pisces: The Heart of Community

The Full Moon reaches its luminary peak in your Capricorn eleventh house—the place of social networks and aspirations. Look back to the New Moon of 19 January for what now manifests.
The eleventh house governs your social networks and aspirations, and in Capricorn, you meet them with commitment, discipline, and ambition. This Full Moon shines a light on these areas, bringing emotional truths and clarity to what you have achieved and what is no longer working. It may prompt you to revise your social connections and the energy you invest in group collaborations—and this, in turn, may reshape your aspirations.
The source of the Full Moon’s light emanates from your Cancer fifth house, where the Sun travels with Mercury and Jupiter. The Sun brings focus to what brings you joy and nurtures your soul—a creative project, romance, or children. Mercury, now retrograde, draws you inward to reflect, reprocess, and revise what has transpired since mid-June. And Jupiter, exalted and especially beneficent, shares his final blessings of emotional growth and wisdom before departing.
Thus, an axial tension presents itself at this Full Moon between your public social connections and ambitions, and your private joy and creativity.
The Full Moon’s ruler, Saturn, is aligned to her by square—a challenging aspect in your Aries second house. She asks whether your material resources and livelihood reflect your ambitions and creative needs. Or perhaps it is time to rethink a scarcity mindset, or the way you secure your income.
Meanwhile, Mars enters your fourth house in Gemini to meet Uranus on 4 July. This is a powerful alignment that brings breakthroughs, surprises, and potential volatility. Lastly, Jupiter, your ruler and the Greater Benefic, slips into your Leo sixth house.
