The borrowed light of the Moon reaches full illumination in Taurus, culminating at a critical moment amid Venus’s cycle of death and rebirth on October 26. Only two days earlier, as Venus retraced her steps back through Scorpio, she merged with the Sun in cazimi — a moment of purification by the divine light and intelligence of the Sun. In the ancient Sumerian myth of Inanna, she is in the underworld, standing naked and powerless before her sister, Ereshkigal, the Queen of the Dead. Ereshkigal kills her and hangs her corpse on a hook.

Three days later, Enki revives Inanna with the water of life, and she ascends back into the heavens. Venus’s meeting with the Sun represents a moment of total surrender, a figurative death. And on October 27-28, Venus is reborn, reappearing in the sky as the Morning Star, mirroring Inanna’s return from the underworld.

Between Death and Rebirth

Thus, the Taurus Full Moon illuminates the liminal moment of tension between death and rebirth. And as the Moon’s light culminates, she must bide her time, for her ruler is hidden — combust in the Sun’s rays, absent from the sky. Inanna has not yet ascended. Venus has not yet risen. And yet Venus has already re-entered Libra. She is at the anaretic degree — 29° Libra — a point of urgency and intensity, a last opportunity to reckon with what she has surrendered, her purification, her solar intent. New wisdom, desires, and values are being seeded, and yet we may not see them clearly yet. The Full Moon illuminates this time of review. A last chance to clean up, to ensure the structural integrity of everything Libran: relationships, contracts, balances, harmonies, justice. Whatever was unresolved before the retrograde is now up for final review. The anaretic degree is often described as a degree of completion, but it is not a peaceful completion. It is the completion that comes after the crisis — the moment where you survey what is left and decide what to carry forward and what to leave behind.

The Psychopomp at the Gate

Mercury stations retrograde the day before the Full Moon, and begins his descent — a divinely timed moment, mirroring Inanna’s rescue and resurrection by Enki, who brings her the water of life. Mercury descends into the underworld as psychopomp, the guide of souls, where he finds Venus. He accompanies her as she ascends, as she reclaims her power and her adornments. He shepherds her across the threshold, and on October 27-28, she reappears in the heavens as the Morning Star.

Sun, Pluto, and the Reckoning

Across the sky, the Sun in Scorpio sits in perfect opposition to the Full Moon. He is square to Pluto, Lord of the Underworld, who now travels direct through Aquarius. Pluto has completed his internal review. The themes Pluto has been churning through — power, control, death and rebirth, the shadow — now demand to be acted on or acknowledged in the external world. Pluto represents death and rebirth, deep and total transformation through purging, release, and destruction.

Yet the Sun has the upper hand, shining his conscious agenda and purpose into the depths of the underworld, the liminal space of our unconscious. And he is not without support. The Sun is in Scorpio, Mars’s sign, and Mars is in Leo, the Sun’s sign — a mutual reception. Each is held by the other. So the Sun who purified Venus at the cazimi is himself strengthened by his ruler, Mars, who lends him integrity and assertion. There is a hidden support structure beneath her surrender. Even in her stripping, she is held.

And Pluto, in turn, squares the Full Moon, placing pressure on her need for safety, comfort, and the past, mirrored in Venus’s transformational journey through the underworld.

The First Decan of Taurus

This Full Moon culminates in the first decan of Taurus, and in the bound of Venus. The Moon exalts here — in the feminine earth temple of Venus — and she governs nourishment, moisture, and caretaking. Her cyclical waxing, waning, and gravitational pull are intimately tied to the rooting and growth of plants. It is fitting, then, that Taurus is the sign of the plough.

Ruled by Mercury in Chaldean order and by Venus in the Indian drekkana triplicity system, this decan is associated in the Tarot with the Five of Pentacles, The Magician, and The Hierophant. It speaks to the labour and faith required to cultivate growth — to plough the soil, sow the seeds, and tend the crops. Yet the Five of Pentacles depicts two beggars in the snow, outside the light of a church window. It is a card that speaks of worry and hardship, financial loss, and isolation. But the window is not closed to them — and the light is not extinguished. It is only that they have not yet looked up.

The Full Moon ruled by Venus reminds us that it is time to intentionally prepare the ground for something new to grow. To push past our attachment to what has been, our fears of loss or being left out in the cold. The deep truths that Venus has understood through the underworld of Scorpio now ask you to manifest something new.

The Magician

You are the Magician. You can gather your power, your desires, your values, and your resources, and let the world you have remade within you take shape in the world you walk through. The Magician is the will made visible — the one who takes what is formless and gives it form. At this Full Moon, the will is yours. What you have transformed in the depths is ready to be carried into the light.

The Hierophant

The Hierophant reveals what is sacred to you. In the ancient rites of Eleusis, he was the priest who showed the sacred objects to the initiates — but he never explained them. He was a facilitator, not a translator. He created the conditions for the encounter, and left the meaning to be received.

The Mysteries were a rehearsal of death. The initiates fasted, drank the kykeon, and descended into darkness. They wandered in confusion and terror — and then the inner sanctuary was opened, and they beheld a great light. They saw the sacred things. They were not told what they meant. And they emerged, in Cicero’s words, “gentler” and “more civilized,” living “more joyfully” and dying with “a better hope.”

Figure: Ninnion Tablet, ca. 370 BC. National Archaeological Museum, Athens.

This is the Hierophant’s gift to you at this Full Moon. He is not here to explain what Venus learned in the underworld. He is here to hold the space while you receive it. He is your mediator between the mundane and the divine, the bridge between the unconscious and the conscious mind — not because he translates the mystery, but because he makes it possible for you to meet it.

And what you meet is this: what is sacred to you? What traditions, agreements, and structures have stood the test of time — and which are ready to be released? The Hierophant does not answer these questions. He asks them, and waits.

The Fixed Sky

The fixity in the sky is noteworthy at the time of this Full Moon. The Sun, Moon, Mercury, Mars, and Jupiter are all in fixed signs. Fixed signs are about maintaining, sustaining, holding steady, resisting change. They are the signs of endurance, loyalty, stubbornness, and deep-rootedness. They don’t move easily. They dig in.

So the Full Moon is happening in a sky that is almost entirely fixed. The Taurus-Scorpio axis is already the fixed axis of the zodiac — the axis of resources, values, power, and transformation. And with Mars, Jupiter, and the South Node all in Leo, the third fixed sign, the fixity is overwhelming.

This changes the feel of the Full Moon. It is not a lunation of easy release or fluid change. It is a lunation where everything is locked in place. The tension between the luminaries — Taurus versus Scorpio — is amplified by the fact that neither wants to move. The Moon wants to hold on to safety. The Sun wants to hold on to truth. Pluto is applying pressure, but even Pluto is in Aquarius, another fixed sign.

The only cardinal placement is Venus, at the very last degree of Libra — the only planet not locked in fixity. She is at the threshold of her own sign, retrograding through the final degree, reviewing everything Libran — relationships, contracts, balance, justice, harmony — under pressure. And she is moving backward, which means she is not rushing forward into resolution. She retrogrades backward to 22°52′ of Libra before stationing direct on November 13. She is working through the ends of things — what is finished, what is unresolved, what needs closing before she can move forward again.

And yet the sky is not entirely fixed. Uranus, too, is retrograde — travelling backward through mutable Gemini, in aversion to both the Sun and the Moon. It sits outside the drama of the Full Moon, but it is not idle. It trines Pluto in Aquarius, and this trine is the key to the pressure. Pluto squares both luminaries; Uranus offers a way through — not by easing the tension, but by changing how it is understood.

Uranus retrograde turns this awakening inward. It is the sudden insight, the epiphany, the mental breakthrough that reorganises what you thought you knew. Evolution and revolution at once. Individuation within the collective. The emancipation of the inner being — a new and greater understanding of who you are.

And this is the gift hidden in the fixity. Taurus wants to hold on to what is known, what is solid, what is proven. Uranus asks a different question: what if your understanding of what is solid is the thing that is holding you back? The awakening is not about abandoning Taurus’s values. It is about seeing them anew. The ground beneath you does not have to move for your understanding of it to change.

Both Venus and Uranus are retrograding through air signs, each reviewing what must be rethought before it can be rebuilt. Two channels of air, moving quietly beneath the fixity. One through relationship. One through insight. And together they suggest that the way through is not to force the lock, but to see the door.

The Truce and the Tightrope

Venus retrogrades back into Libra Decan III — the final ten degrees of the sign, from 20° to 30°. In the Tarot, this decan is given to the Four of Swords, titled “Rest from Strife” and “Truce.” The image is a knight at rest, having found a mental tranquillity removed from the whirl and bustle of life. T. Susan Chang calls it the widening gyre; Austin Coppock names it the gyroscope — the power “to equilibrate unbalanced forces as they are encountered, and to maintain connection to the unmoved centre.”

Both images point to the same thing. Chang offers the image of the tightrope walker — the long balancing pole that keeps them upright.

Venus re-enters the decan of rest and rebalancing, moving backward through it. She is not moving forward into new territory. She is retracing the ground of the Truce. She has been through the underworld — the cazimi, the death, the stripping. Now she re-enters the decan of Rest from Strife and moves backward through it, reviewing the terms of the truce. Ruled by Jupiter in the Chaldean decan system, it is a time of sanctuary — the gifts of mercy, perspective, and space. A time of integration after strife. The unmoved centre Coppock names is exactly what Venus retrograde in this decan might be seeking: the still point within the storm of the Full Moon’s fixity, the Plutonian pressure, and the uncompromising emotional truths carried back from the depths of Scorpio. The Four of Swords does not promise resolution. It promises a pause, integration, and a new understanding of where balance lies.

She has been stripped, killed, and revived. And now, before she ascends fully back into the world, she re-enters Libra’s third decan — and there, she finds the balancing pole. Not a weapon, not a burden, but the tool that lets her balance on the tightrope. Without it, she would fall. With it, she can walk the wire between the fixed signs — between Taurus and Scorpio, between safety and truth, between holding on and letting go.

The tightrope is Libra itself. Cardinal air. The element of movement, relationship, balance, and choice. Venus is the only planet moving through it. She is walking the wire while everything else is locked in place. But she is not walking forward yet. She is retrograding — moving backward through the final degrees of Libra. She is not walking the tightrope toward the other side. She is walking it backward, reviewing every step, testing the pole, finding her balance before she turns and moves forward again.

When she stations direct on November 13, she will have found the balance. She will have reviewed the truce. She will have reclaimed her adornments — the wisdom, the sovereignty, the self-worth. And then she can move forward, through the remaining degrees of Libra, across the tightrope, and eventually back into Scorpio on December 5 — not as the same Venus who descended, but as one who has been through the underworld and returned with the sagacity of balance.

The Full Moon in Taurus, in the bound of Venus, asks one thing of you: to prepare the ground. To plough the soil while the sky holds still. To find your own unmoved centre, your own centre of balance, your own truce — so that when Venus rises as the Morning Star, you are ready to walk the wire.

Aries: Your Worth Illuminated

Illustration of the constellation Aries, depicting a ram with stars marking its shape.

The Full Moon culminates in your second house in Taurus, bringing greater clarity around your self-worth, independence, and personal finances. The Moon is exalted here, seeking stability and comfort, but her ruler, Venus, has been moving back through Scorpio, the sign of her detriment.

From the Eighth to the Seventh

Venus is in the midst of retracing her steps from your eighth house in Scorpio to your seventh house in Libra. After recently merging with the Sun, she crossed the threshold into Libra once more — purified, humbled, in a place of surrender and acceptance. What Venus dredged up in the eighth — truths around shared resources, karmic entanglements, debts, and interdependencies — she now brings into the seventh house for processing, release, and integration. Are your financial interdependencies, debts, or investments balanced — and fair? Do they support you, or do they cause tension in your partnership? These considerations colour what the Full Moon reveals in your second house — matters of self-worth, personal finances, and independence.

The Pressure of Pluto

Absolute honesty is required, for Pluto in your eleventh house squares the Moon in an aspect of tension. Travelling direct once again, Pluto is ready to enact further deep changes to your social ecosystem, which will in turn impact your relationships. Who you belong with, and who you no longer belong with, is changing what you value — and who and what you are willing to invest your time and energy in.

The Sun Confronts the Depths

The source of the Full Moon’s light, the Sun, has only recently ingressed into your Scorpio eighth house, joining Mercury, who has turned retrograde. Together they help unpick the relational and financial revelations of Venus. And the Sun has weight here — he is in an overcoming square to Pluto, and he has the advantage. His awareness of eighth-house matters holds sway in the tension between your shifting friends and community. He is not passively receiving the Lord of the Underworld’s pressure. He is confronting it. And the Moon, too, reflects this. The Sun brings his light to what rose from the depths. He makes it conscious. He gives it purpose. So that you can see it clearly, name it, and decide what is fair.

Illumination and Translation

Mercury turns inward, and his work is threefold. He translates — giving meaning and form to what Venus has reviewed, the deep emotional truths, the hidden entanglements, the unspoken debts. He strategises — analysing the eighth-house material with intuitive knowing. His perceptive eye weighs what is owed and what is owed to you, mapping the dynamics of power and dependency. And he understands — not just emotionally, but intellectually — what has been felt.

What Is Fair and Balanced

Together, they help you decide what is fair and balanced — and how to communicate these shifts with diplomacy, but with the deep, open honesty that Scorpio demands. Review your shared accounts. Revisit the terms of your agreements. Look honestly at the energetic give and take of your deepest commitments. Have the conversation you have been avoiding. Venus does not station direct until November 13. Use this time wisely.

Taurus: The Full Moon and You

Celestial chart depicting the constellation Taurus with a stylized depiction of the bull, including detailed stars and a blue background.

The light of the Full Moon reaches its peak in Taurus, your first house. The Moon is exalted here, in her place of strength. What arises now is deeply personal — a culmination of awareness that allows you to orient yourself, your values and desires, and how you meet others.

Venus in the Underworld

Yet Venus — her ruler and yours — moves retrograde through the underworld, her journey and discoveries expressed in the Full Moon’s revelations. In your Scorpio seventh house, she demanded uncompromising honesty, acknowledgement of unhealed wounds — what could no longer be ignored. She merged with the Sun on October 24, a moment of purification and surrender.

The Sixth House Integration

And now, Venus has re-entered your Libra sixth house, retracing her steps through its last decan. She seeks peace from the recent intensity, but she is in the place of daily labour and service, where her vitality is challenged. And with Mercury retrograde as her guide and translator, she sets about a process of integration and meaning-making.

This is a time to address any imbalances — to reassume your personal power and self-worth. For on October 27-28, Venus reappears in the Eastern sky as the Morning Star, purified, renewed, and sovereign.

The Sun Illuminates Partnership

Across the sky, the Sun is aligned in perfect opposition to the Full Moon. It illuminates your committed partnerships, bringing consciousness to relational matters that Venus uncovered in Scorpio — dynamics of power and control, your boundaries and sense of self-worth, and your values and deepest desires.

Pluto Forces Alignment

And Pluto, now direct in your tenth house, squares the Full Moon across your first and fourth. Your professional life, direction, and public identity are continuing their long evolution — and matters of power, institutions, and authority arise. But Pluto does not only press on your career. It presses on your foundations too, asking whether the public self you are building rests on ground that is truly yours. As Pluto squares the Full Moon in your first house, it forces an alignment of your self, your values, and your motivations.

The Invitation

Let the Full Moon illuminate what needs to be seen. Let Venus, still in the underworld, do her quiet work of integration. Let the partnerships that have been illuminated by the Sun’s light reveal what is fair, what is balanced, and what is ready to be renegotiated. And when Venus rises as the Morning Star, you will be ready to move forward — aligned, sovereign, and clear.

Gemini: Bringing Light to the Darkness

An illustrated depiction of the constellation Gemini, featuring two figures intertwined, representing the twin siblings Castor and Pollux, surrounded by stars.

The Full Moon in Taurus falls into your twelfth house, bringing deep psychological and spiritual epiphanies, and karmic patterns to your awareness.

Venus in the Fifth

The Moon is exalted here, in the earthy stability of Taurus. But her ruler, Venus, travels retrograde through the underworld in your Libra fifth house. She has gathered deep insights from the waters of Scorpio, and faced emotional truths about her desires, her values, and how she relates to others. She has acknowledged the unhealed wounds, and the pain and anger she still carries.

Death and Rebirth

Just before she departed Scorpio, she was purified and reset when she merged with the Sun in cazimi. In the myth of Inanna, she was killed as she stood before the Queen of Death, powerless. Now she receives the water of life, sent by Enki. Resurrected, she begins her ascent back into the heavens. She has been invisible for almost a week, and only a few days after the Taurus Moon culminates, she makes her auspicious reappearance in the early morning Eastern sky as the Morning Star.

Reclaiming Power

For you, Gemini, this is a moment of reclaiming your personal power. The Full Moon in your twelfth house brings awareness to unconscious patterns that need to be processed — negative self-beliefs, feelings of unworthiness, sorrows and anxieties. In Vedic astrology, this is a Moksha house, a place of spiritual liberation from attachments and karmic patterns. Venus, your ruler, asks you where you feel disempowered and in servitude, how your spiritual health is tied to your physical health, and which burdens are truly yours to carry. This is a reassessment of your relationship to colleagues, and how you honour your self-worth and values at work and in your daily life. And now Venus finds her joy as she retraces her steps through your fifth house in Libra. You are asked to honour what brings your heart joy — in matters of creativity, children, and romance.

Pluto in the Ninth

Pluto is now travelling direct in your Aquarius ninth house. He continues his long-term transformation of your connection to life, the cosmos, and how you find spiritual or intellectual meaning. He looks upon the Sun and Moon in an aspect of tension. The Sun now travels through Scorpio in the wake of Venus’s retrograde. He consciously processes what she found in the depths and integrates it with your will and purpose. These are deep transformational currents, and so what you have learned about yourself now sways how you find meaning, knowledge, and the horizons you seek to explore. Pluto compels the Full Moon to acknowledge these new truths — to align herself with where your soul wants to go.

Mercury the Psychopomp

And your ruler, Mercury, travels with the Sun in Scorpio. He has turned retrograde and descended into the underworld to reassess what you now consciously understand. He guides the ruler of the Full Moon through her last moments in the domain of Pluto. He formulates language, meaning, and strategy that will guide you once he turns direct.

The Invitation

This is not a moment for action, but a time of honest reflection and integration. Trust your intuition and instinct, for they will guide you through. When Mercury stations direct together with Venus on November 13, you will be ready to move forward with greater sovereignty — thanks to your newly found insights.

.

Cancer: A New Light on Connections and Aspirations

A vintage star map depicting the constellation Cancer, with surrounding constellations Leo and Gemini. The map features detailed illustrations of astrological symbols and star positions.

The Taurus Full Moon falls into your eleventh house, the place of her exaltation. Relational truths will be illuminated, bringing culmination to matters around your friends, social connections, and aspirations — and greater clarity around your values and deepest desires.

Venus in Her Joy

The ruler of the Moon, Venus, is going through a deep revisionary process. She retrograded through your fifth house — her place of joy — reassessing your self-worth, values, and desires, and shedding dysfunctional or painful dynamics. She asked whether your authentic self is finding expression through creativity, romance, and children. And just before leaving Scorpio, she merged with the Sun in a moment of surrender and purification.

The Fourth House

Now she re-enters your Libra fourth house — your private foundations, the place of parents, family, and home. This Full Moon signifies the birth of a new cycle: a ruler who has gained profound new wisdom, Venus renewed by a new sense of sovereignty and empowerment, seeking diplomacy and balance within the private domestic sphere.

Sun and Mercury

The Sun sits in perfect opposition to the Full Moon in Scorpio. He is copresent with Mercury, who now travels retrograde back toward him. The Sun brings consciousness and purpose to matters that surfaced as Venus retrograded. Mercury translates and strategises as he travels through the underworld, using intuition and instinct to communicate.

Pluto in the Eighth

And Pluto, now direct in your eighth house, brings inevitable change to shared resources, psychological and financial inheritances, and entanglements. The Sun squares Pluto with the upper hand — a sign that your authentic creative spark and personal sovereignty have the power to overcome any hidden or manipulative dynamics in your eighth house. And Pluto, in turn, squares the Full Moon in your eleventh house, representing tension with your social network and long-term goals. You may question the power dynamics of your alliances, or feel anxious around certain friendships. Current aspirations may be transformed as you come to know your true desires. You may feel vulnerable or exposed as you release these conditional alliances — but ultimately, you are moving toward greater empowerment.

The Invitation

This Full Moon asks you to look honestly at where you belong, and why. Some connections will hold. Others will fall away. Let them. The ones that remain will be built on something truer — a shared sense of purpose, a mutual respect, a recognition of your worth. Venus is not yet risen, but she is moving. And so are you.

.

Leo: Foundational Shifts, Career in Focus

Illustration of the constellation Leo, showing a lion with star placements and labels.

The Full Moon in Taurus falls into your tenth house — the place of career and public reputation. It brings culmination and awareness to relational truths and desires that now colour how you meet the world publicly.

Venus in the Fourth and Third

The ruler of the Moon, Venus, has retrograded back into your Libra third house. Her journey here saw her retrace her steps through your Scorpio fourth house, dredging up old, unhealed familial wounds. It has been a time of reassessing early childhood experiences that have influenced your self-worth, your values, and your ability to trust others in relationship. Venus merged with the Sun in cazimi shortly before leaving Scorpio — a divine moment of surrender, and an acknowledgement of what has been holding you down. Now, as Venus moves back into Libra, she regains her dignity.

The Psychopomp

But she still moves through the underworld. Mercury, who has just turned retrograde, meets her in the liminal shadows as psychopomp, to bring her the water of life. Venus, resurrected, begins her ascent up through the underworld, to take her place in the heavens once more as the Morning Star on October 27–28. It represents a time of reckoning, when the burden of old wounds and self-beliefs no longer holds power over you. As Venus moves back through Libra, you regain a sense of balance, peace, and sovereignty — with a new understanding of what was never yours to carry.

Pluto in the Seventh

And Pluto, now direct in your seventh house, squares the Sun and Moon. You enter a new stage of how you relate to others — more buoyant, more confident. The Sun in your fourth house brings greater understanding through consciously integrating what has been brought to light. He squares Pluto, pushing for this new wisdom to be integrated into the larger evolutionary journey of how you meet the other. And Pluto, in turn, squares the Full Moon in Taurus — challenging her out of her comfort zone, calling you to embrace a more authentic public version of yourself.

Mars, Jupiter, and the South Node

And Mars travels with Jupiter and the South Node in your Leo first house, bringing you greater vitality and assertion. With the Sun now in Scorpio, they move into mutual reception, providing each other with support and understanding. Jupiter has pushed you to expand your horizons, to embrace new experiences and aspects of yourself. The South Node has asked you to release the egoistic parts of yourself that no longer serve your growth. And with Mars in the superior position, he pushes the Sun to acknowledge your new-found individuation and sovereignty — to overcome the old ancestral karmic patterns.

The Invitation

This Full Moon asks you to step into the light — not the light of applause or recognition, but the light of your own authenticity. Venus has reclaimed what was hers. The old wounds no longer hold power. And the version of you that emerges is not the one who was burdened, but the one who was always there, waiting beneath the weight. Let yourself be seen.

.

Virgo: Truth, Meaning, and Healing

Illustration of a female figure representing a constellation, dressed in a pink gown with green accents and wings, surrounded by stars and labeled with celestial names.

The Full Moon in Taurus lights up your ninth house of philosophy, higher learning, and foreign places. This is a time of greater awareness and clarity around your search for meaning, knowledge, and the broadening of your horizons.

Venus in the Third

The Moon is exalted in Taurus, where she seeks comfort and stability. Yet her ruler, Venus, has been experiencing intensity and unavoidable truths during her retrograde cycle. She still travels backward through the sky, and has now re-entered her own masculine air sign in Libra, where she regains her dignity. She has been travelling through the emotional waters of Scorpio, the domain of Mars, where she must operate with greater strategy, power, and depth. She has brought painful truths and realisations to the surface — recognising power imbalances and old wounds from your childhood that she still carries. Just before this Full Moon, she merged with the Sun in cazimi: a moment of purification and surrender.

Scorpio is your third house, and so these intense revelations centred on your daily thoughts, memories, and how you communicate. It is the place of siblings, neighbours, and local community — how you interact and participate. And Mars, its ruler, is in mutual reception with the Sun, who has newly entered Scorpio. Thus the Sun, and in turn Venus, enjoy greater spiritual and psychological support from your twelfth house of the unconscious self. A conduit of understanding, where the Sun brings deeply held unconscious truths and karmic patterns into your awareness.

The Morning Star

Now in Libra, Venus begins the process of finding peace and balance once more. Mythically, she still travels the underworld stripped of her power and adornments. But Mercury, your ruler, travels in Scorpio and has also turned retrograde, meeting her as psychopomp to guide her out of the underworld. Mirrored by the myth of Inanna, she is resurrected by Enki, who sends her the waters of life. She now begins her ascent back into the heavens, regaining her adornments and power. Her light will once more grace the early Eastern sky on October 27–28 as the Morning Star.

The Second House

Libra is your second house of financial independence and self-esteem. Here she begins her final period of integration and review, before stationing direct on November 13 together with Mercury. You will then be ready to move forward, empowered by the emotional truths you have processed and shed. Lighter, wiser, and more whole, you will move forward with more confidence and conviction, and a deeper sense of self-worth. This will be expressed through how you manage your resources, your relationships at work, and what you know you are deserving of.

Pluto’s Pressure; Mercury’s Introspection

And Pluto, now direct in your sixth house, squares the Full Moon and Sun. The pressure falls on your daily routines, your health, and your work — and it reaches into what you believe, how you think, and the horizons you are reaching toward. Mercury’s simultaneous retrograde is a time of personal introspection and review. He rules your first house of body, mind, and identity. And he rules your tenth house of career and public actions in Gemini. When he turns direct with Venus on November 13, you will see yourself more clearly — and what you want to achieve in your professional life.

The Invitation

This Full Moon asks you to look at what you truly value — not the values you were given. The truths Venus found in the depths are yours now. They belong to your mind, your body, your daily life. Let them reshape what you thought you deserved. Let them reshape what you are willing to build.

.

Libra: Balancing Interdependency

An antique illustration depicting celestial objects with a focus on two large vessels, interconnected by intricate lines and symbols, representing a star map or astronomical chart.

The Full Moon in Taurus falls into your eighth house, bringing new insight and awareness to matters of shared resources, karmic entanglements, debts, and inheritance.

Venus Retrograde

The Moon is exalted in Taurus, where she seeks comfort and stability. But her ruler, and yours, Venus, has been through a time of intensity — bringing emotional truths and old wounds to the surface. She travels retrograde, having just re-entered Libra, her own masculine air sign. Here she regains her dignity. But still retrograde, she is focused inward, without the power to act. She has been travelling through Scorpio, the deep waters of Mars, where she must operate with intensity, strategy, power, and an uncompromising search for truth and loyalty. She confronted unhealed wounds, unhealthy patterns, and power dynamics.

The Cazimi

Just before the Full Moon, she merged with the Sun in Scorpio — a moment of surrender and purification, punctuating her journey back through Scorpio, your second house. The emotional epiphanies centred on your self-worth, your sense of safety, and how you support yourself materially. They now contrast with this Full Moon in your eighth house. The Moon represents the mother, and so what becomes clear now may be your karmic and emotional inheritance from her. Or it may bring attention to matters of shared resources, and whether those arrangements are fair and balanced. You may now see what is yours to carry, and what is not.

The Morning Star

And now Venus has returned to your first house in Libra, carrying deep truths and new understanding. Mythically, she travels the underworld, vulnerable and stripped of her power. Here she is met by Mercury, who has also turned retrograde. As psychopomp, he guides her out of the underworld. As Enki, he sends her the waters of life, resurrecting her. In the days following this Full Moon, Venus ascends back into the heavens. Her light once more gracing the skies as she reappears in the early morning Eastern sky on October 27–28 — reborn as the Morning Star.

The Sun in the Second

And the Sun sits in perfect opposition to this Full Moon. He has traded places with Venus, and now moves through your Scorpio second house. He is in the domain of Mars — and notably, Mars is in the domain of the Sun, in your eleventh house in Leo. In mutual reception, they share a special bond of understanding, and the sextile between them makes that support easy and available.

So as the Sun makes his way through your second house, he illuminates what Venus has uncovered, making visible what has been hidden in Mars’s murky waters. He grants you will and assertion to follow your convictions around your financial independence, with greater integrity and authenticity. And because Mars sits in your eleventh house, this support extends to your community — your friendships, networks, and long-term aspirations. The people around you, and the dreams you share with them, are part of what strengthens your hand.

In axial tension to the Full Moon in your eighth house, the Sun brings to light any oppositional tension between your financial autonomy and where there is enmeshment. Where you feel validated and empowered, and where you are entangled in bonds that do not serve you. Between your personal boundaries and esteem, and where you have compromised yourself or carry the inherited weight of others.

Pluto in the Fifth

And Pluto, direct once more in your fifth house, squares this Full Moon and the Sun. He continues his deep transformation of your house of joy and creativity. The Sun brings purpose to these shifts, consciously integrating your growing sense of self-worth and financial independence. And Pluto brings pressure from your personal sphere of pleasure, children, and creativity — illuminating aspects of shared finances, debts, and entanglements that must shift to accommodate your growth.

The Invitation

For you, Libra, this is a profound time of personal growth — of shedding old skin, of clarified emotional patterns, of grief better understood. When Venus stations direct, together with Mercury, on November 13, you will be ready to move forward more whole, more healed, and with a greater capacity for love. You will begin to find greater balance and inner peace in your relationship with yourself and with others.

Let the Sun illuminate what Venus found in the dark. Let the Morning Star rise on a lighter you.

Scorpio: The Self and Other Illuminated

An antique star chart depicting constellations including Scorpion and a bird, with celestial lines and stars illustrated.

The Full Moon in Taurus falls into your seventh house — the place of committed relationship and business partnership — illuminating deep emotional truths.

Venus Retrograde

Exalted in the earthy temple of Venus, the Moon finds comfort and stability. But Venus has been through a time of intensity and deep revision, retrograding through your first house. In Mars’s waters, she was confronted by old wounds, unhealthy relational patterns, and powerful emotional truths. She reviewed her values, her desires, her aesthetics. For you, Scorpio, this may have been a challenging inward journey. Yet what has surfaced, what you have acknowledged, will now be alchemised.

Death and Resurrection

Just before the Full Moon, Venus completed her journey back through Scorpio in a merging with the Sun in cazimi — a time of divine surrender and purification. Mythically, it is tied to the death of Inanna as she stood before her sister, stripped of her adornments and power. Enki, her trusted advisor, resurrects her with the water of life. And in a moment of divine serendipity, Mercury stations retrograde, descending into the underworld as psychopomp, guiding Venus up through the darkness. Revived, Venus ascends back into the heavens, recovering her adornments and her power. On October 27–28, she reappears in the early morning Eastern sky, reborn as the Morning Star. For you, Scorpio, this is a profound reset in your self-worth, values, and desires. It will forever shift how you meet the world — your relationships, your personal boundaries, and how you hold and express your power.

The Twelfth House

And now Venus has returned to your Libra twelfth house, bringing new awareness and wisdom around your unconscious patterns, memories, and sorrows. This is an opportunity to release karma you have been unknowingly carrying, to bring peace to your deepest self. Armed with new understanding, Venus navigates the liminal space of your inner psyche, finding peace and balance in the eye of the storm.

The Sun in the First

And the Sun, who opposes this Full Moon in your seventh house, has now entered your first house. He is in the place of your ruler, Mars, and Mars is in the domain of the Sun, Leo. They are aligned in a harmonious sextile and in mutual reception, providing each other understanding, support, and opportunities for positive change. The Sun makes conscious what Venus has brought up from the depths, bringing clarity and purpose. And Mercury, now retrograde in your first, revises and reassesses what has passed. When both Venus and Mercury station direct on November 13, you will be ready to move forward, armed with new understanding and direction.

Foundational Transformation: Pluto in the Fourth

And Pluto, now direct in your fourth house, squares both luminaries. The Sun brings conscious clarity to what Venus found in your first house — the house of self, identity, and how you meet the world. And that clarity places pressure on Pluto to integrate it into the evolving domain of home and family. Pluto’s square to the Full Moon reaches into your house of partnership. The foundations of your life are being reshaped. And what shifts at home will shift how you meet others. The private and the relational reckoning are one and the same.

Mars in the House of Career

And with Mars in your tenth house of career, placing pressure on your physical body and personal identity, you will feel the need to better align your professional life and public actions with your authentic self. This may express itself as a need for greater authority or recognition, or perhaps as the need to deal with overwork or burnout. You may need to confront frustrations with managers or clients who restrict your autonomy.

The Invitation

This Full Moon asks you to look at what you have been carrying in secret — the patterns, the sorrows, the karmic weight you did not know was yours. Venus has brought them to the surface. The Sun has made them conscious. And now, in the quiet of your twelfth house, you are asked to let them go. Not all at once. But slowly, gently, one breath at a time. The Morning Star is rising. And so are you.

Sagittarius: A Time of Rest and Restoration

An artistic depiction of the constellation Sagittarius, featuring a centaur holding a bow and arrow against a starry sky.

The Full Moon in Taurus falls into your sixth house — the place of health, daily routine, and labours. The Moon is exalted in Taurus, where she seeks comfort and stability. But the sixth house can be a challenging place, where physical ailments may arise, and where the obligations and tasks of life may feel like a grind.

Venus in the Twelfth

The ruler of this Full Moon, Venus, has been through a time of intensity, retrograding through your twelfth house in Scorpio — the place of unconscious patterns, sorrows, and karma. In the depths of Mars’s feminine waters, Venus seeks uncompromising truth and loyalty. Here she dredged up old wounds, power dynamics, and dysfunctional relational cycles. She dived deep to find your authentic desires and values. Now Venus has re-entered your eleventh house in Libra — but not before merging with the Sun in your twelfth house in cazimi. Mythically, this is when Inanna died before her sister Ereshkigal: a moment of total surrender and vulnerability. Now she is resurrected by the water of life, sent down to her by her trusted advisor, Enki. And in a moment of divine timing, Mercury meets Venus in the dark, having stationed retrograde. Mercury guides her up and out, as she reclaims her dignity and her power.

Rebirth

Venus ascends back into the heavens, to share her light once more. On October 27–28, she is reborn, becoming visible in the early Eastern sky as the Morning Star. In Libra, she begins to integrate what she found in the depths of Scorpio — finding balance, peace, and harmony within your friendships and social network, and a revisioning of your aspirations.

The Sun and Mars

The Sun has swapped places with Venus, and now travels through your twelfth house in perfect opposition to the Full Moon in Taurus. He is square to your ruler, Mars, who travels through the Sun’s domain in Leo, your ninth house. Thus they are aligned in tension, yet in mutual reception — a relationship of understanding and support. Mars demands that your core beliefs and worldview be integrated into your spiritual life.

The Twelfth House Sun

The Sun now brings greater consciousness to the liminal spaces of the twelfth house. In perfect opposition to this Full Moon, the tension between your inner world and the physical and emotional demands of the sixth becomes apparent. A time to reflect on whether your daily routines, your lifestyle, and your work demands are supporting your wellbeing and psychological health — or whether patterns of self-undoing or negative self-talk are afflicting your physical health.

Pluto in the Third

And Pluto, direct once more in your third house, presses on the Full Moon and the Sun. The Sun brings conscious clarity and purpose to what Venus found in your eleventh house — your social network and aspirations. He pressures Pluto to integrate this new wisdom into how you think, speak, and connect. That transformation of your mind reaches into your body, your daily routines, and the quiet spaces of your inner life. What you say to yourself matters. And Pluto, in turn, pushes the Full Moon to bring awareness to where your lifestyle and daily labours must shift — for your health, your vitality, and your greater good.

The Invitation

Sagittarius, this is a time to find a better balance between your health and the demands of life. To ensure that you nurture not only yourself physically, but also spiritually and emotionally — through healthy practices, inward reflection, and retreat. With the Sun in your twelfth and both Mercury and Venus still retrograde, use this time to go inward, to reflect, to rest and restore your vitality. When the Sun moves into your first house on November 23, with both Venus and Mercury moving direct once more, you will be ready to step into the world — more integrated, and with greater vitality.

The Morning Star is rising. Let it find you rested.

Capricorn: The Illumination of Your Joy

Illustration of the constellation Capricorn, featuring a goat with fish-like elements, surrounded by a grid of stars and celestial patterns.

The Full Moon in Taurus falls into your fifth house — the place of pleasure, creativity, romance, and children. It brings greater awareness of your desires, how you want to express yourself, and what brings you joy. And it brings a deeper understanding of your friendships and social networks, and how to find balance in your professional sphere.

Relationships and Dreams Revisioned

The Moon is exalted in Taurus, where she seeks comfort and stability. Yet her ruler, Venus, has experienced a time of great intensity and revelation. She has retrograded through Scorpio, the deep emotional waters of Mars. Here she must express herself with strategy and power, and she demands uncompromising honesty and loyalty. In your eleventh house, she has reassessed your friendships, allies, and mentors — uncovering which connections are worth holding on to, and which are ready to be released. She has uncovered old wounds, and identified any relationships with unhealthy power dynamics or inauthenticity.

Death and Resurrection

And just before the Full Moon, Venus merged with the Sun in cazimi — a moment of surrender and purification. According to myth, this is the moment when Inanna dies before Ereshkigal, vulnerable and powerless. But her loyal advisor, Enki, revives her with the waters of life, and resurrected, she begins her ascent out of the underworld. A moment beautifully reflected by divine timing — for Mercury has stationed direct and meets Venus in her hour of need. As psychopomp and guide of souls, Mercury leads Venus out of the underworld and across the threshold. On October 27–28, Venus appears in the early Eastern sky once more, reborn as the Morning Star.

Career, Desires and Values Realigned

This is a powerful moment, for Venus has re-entered her own domain in Libra — your tenth house of career. Still retrograde, she begins to regain her power, strength, and dignity. Whatever surfaced in your eleventh house, she begins to integrate and process, seeking balance and harmony. She stations direct in perfect unison with Mercury on November 13, ready to move forward once more. This is a time when you will make changes in your professional life, or see your career in a new light. To right any imbalances, to pursue new-found desires, and to align yourself more authentically with your values.

The Sun in the Eleventh

The Sun has swapped places with Venus, bringing focus to your eleventh house. And in perfect opposition to this Full Moon in your fifth house, you will become aware of the push and pull between your group affiliations and your personal domain of joy. You will need to acknowledge both, and to identify where there is imbalance. Are your friendships and public ambitions coming at a cost to your personal expression, your creativity, your children, or your romantic partner? Or perhaps you need to put more energy into your aspirations and your social network.

Mars and Sun in Mutual Understanding

And Mars adds to this tension. Square to the Sun, he places pressure from your eighth house in Leo — the place of shared resources, inheritances, and karmic entanglements — onto your friendships and groups. Fortunately, the Sun and Mars are in mutual reception, each in the other’s sign, so whatever needs to shift will be supported by an undercurrent of understanding.

Pluto in the Second

And Pluto, now direct in your second house, and aligned by square to the Full Moon and the Sun. The Sun in your eleventh house brings conscious clarity to what rose up from the depths of Scorpio, and presses Pluto to integrate it into your evolving sense of self-worth and financial independence. Pluto, in turn, places pressure on the Full Moon to reflect these shifts in your fifth house. Your values are being reshaped — and that reshaping reaches into what you create and who you create it with. What you own, and what you share, are being redefined together.

The Invitation

Capricorn, this Full Moon reminds you that ambition alone cannot sustain you. Your career, your public standing, your material security — these matter. But they must be held by something deeper: the joy of creating, the warmth of connection, the willingness to be known. The fifth house is not a distraction from your ambitions. It is what makes them worth pursuing.

Aquarius: Foundations Illuminated

An illustration of the constellation Aquarius, featuring a figure pouring water from a vessel, with celestial symbols and stars represented in the background.

This Full Moon falls into your fourth house in Taurus — the place of parents, home, and family. It sheds new light on ancestral patterns, relational patterns, and old wounds.

Venus in the Tenth

The Moon is exalted in Taurus, where she seeks comfort and groundedness. But her ruler, Venus, has been travelling retrograde through Scorpio, in the deep waters of Mars. Here Venus operates with intensity, power, and strategy. She has been digging up old traumas and identifying unsustainable or unbalanced relationship dynamics. She travels the underworld, and just before the Full Moon’s culmination, she merged with the Sun — a moment of divine surrender and purification. In the story of Inanna, she meets Ereshkigal stripped of her adornments and powerless. Ereshkigal kills her. But her loyal advisor, Enki, sends her the water of life, resurrecting her. A moment reflected by Mercury, who stations retrograde at this very time, descending into the underworld to guide Venus back out. As the story goes, Venus ascends through the gates, reclaiming her adornments and her power.

Scorpio is your tenth house — the place of your career and public self. What new insights have you gained in relation to your professional sphere around matters of authority, power dynamics, boundaries, and loyalty? What have you discovered about your deepest desires and values?

The Ninth House

And now Venus has re-entered Libra, gaining strength and dignity, integrating and processing what she found in the murky waters of Scorpio. In your Libra ninth house, she sets about finding balance, diplomacy, and justice — shifting your search for knowledge, truth, and wisdom. When Venus and Mercury both station direct together on November 13, you will be ready to move forward again with greater integrity, wholeness, and confidence.

The Sun and Mars

The Full Moon in Taurus is thus coloured by Venus’s journey through your tenth and ninth houses. The Sun sits in perfect opposition in your tenth house, bringing conscious clarity to what has surfaced in your public domain. The Sun is in an alignment of tension with Mars in your Leo seventh house of partnership. Pressure from your committed relationships is felt in your public life and career. Fortunately, this friction is softened by mutual reception between the Sun and Mars, each in the other’s sign, bringing an undercurrent of understanding. And the Full Moon in your fourth house opposes the Sun, asking what must now shift in your most private sphere to reflect what Venus has found — in how you meet your family and loved ones, in the foundations of your life.

Pluto in the First

And Pluto, direct once more in your first house, squares the Full Moon and the Sun. The Sun continues his long transformation journey in your tenth house of career and public life. What Venus has uncovered in your ninth house is brought to conscious clarity, and the Sun pushes for this new wisdom to be integrated into your public evolution. Pluto, in turn, presses the Full Moon to reflect this within your private foundations. What shifts within you will shift what you build, and where you build it.

The Invitation

This Full Moon asks you to look at what you have inherited — the patterns, the wounds, the unspoken contracts of your lineage. Venus has brought them to the surface. The Sun has made them conscious. And now, in the privacy of your fourth house, you are asked to decide what stays and what is released. The home you build from here does not have to be the home you were given. The foundations can be remade. Venus is not yet risen, but she is moving. And so are you.

Pisces: What the Goddess Illuminates

A vintage celestial map depicting the constellation Pisces, featuring illustrations of fish and surrounding constellations including Aquarius.

The Full Moon falls into your third house in Taurus, shedding new light on your thoughts, communication, siblings, and local environs. The Moon exalts here, seeking comfort and stability. And she finds her joy in the third house — the place of the Goddess, where she rules the familiar and cyclic rhythms of community.

Venus in the Ninth

But the ruler of the Moon, Venus, has been retrograding through Scorpio, your ninth house — digging up deep emotional truths, desires, and relational patterns. In the waters of Scorpio, she must express herself with strategy, power, and an uncompromising desire for truth and loyalty. What she has surfaced speaks to your belief system, your worldview, your search for meaning and knowledge beyond your familiar world. She has acknowledged old wounds and new desires.

Death and Resurrection

Just before leaving Scorpio, she merges with the Sun in cazimi — a moment of divine surrender and purification. Mythically, this is the moment of Inanna’s death, standing before Ereshkigal in the underworld, stripped of her adornments and power. But Inanna is saved by Enki, her loyal advisor, who sends her the water of life. Resurrected, she begins her ascent out of the underworld, at each gate reclaiming her adornments and her power. This myth is reflected in a moment of magical serendipity — Mercury, having stationed retrograde, meets Venus as psychopomp to guide her ascent out of the underworld and across the threshold. On October 27–28, she makes her appearance in the early Eastern sky, reborn as the Morning Star.

The Eighth House

Venus has re-entered Libra, gaining strength and dignity. This is your eighth house — the place of shared resources, karmic entanglements, debts, and inheritance. She sets about integrating and processing the insights gained in Scorpio, to find greater balance, harmony, and fairness in shared financial matters and your interdependent bonds. And where two lives are entangled this deeply, vulnerability, intimacy, and trust are never far beneath the surface — she asks you to look at where they have been honoured, and where they have been broken.

The Sun in the House of God

The Sun is now in Scorpio, bringing conscious form and purpose to what has surfaced. He finds his joy in the ninth house — the place of God — and now sits in perfect opposition to the Full Moon in your third house. The luminaries represent a moment of tension, a push and pull between your ninth house — your search for truth, higher meaning, and the divine — and the third house — the familiar, cyclic rhythms and rites of your daily mind, routines, and community.

Pluto in the Twelfth

And Pluto, now direct in your twelfth house, squares the Full Moon and the Sun. The Sun in your ninth house brings clarity and purposeful form to what Venus has uncovered. He presses Pluto to integrate this new wisdom into the liminal space of your twelfth house. Pluto, in turn, pressures the Moon in your third house to reflect these shifts in your daily thoughts and interactions. Your unconscious is being stirred — and what rises from it will change how you think, how you speak, and what you believe. The depths and the daily are being remade together.

The Invitation

Pisces, Venus is your exaltation ruler, and the Full Moon lies within her domain and face, signifying its portent for you. This is a moment for deep acceptance of what Venus has uncovered — your desires, how you relate, how you communicate. The Sun in your ninth house brings conscious form to your search for truth and meaning, to expand your horizons and the depths of your inner world. And the Full Moon illuminates how to honour this in the sanctity of your local world — your community, your daily rhythms, and what brings you comfort.

Both have value. Can you hold them both at once? The divine and the daily. The cosmic order and the familiar horizon. The immutable and the mundane. The third house is where the sacred becomes ordinary: the infinite found in a conversation, a walk through your neighbourhood, a quiet moment with someone you love. You do not have to choose between them. Let the Morning Star rise on both.
